ADULT SWIMMING LESSONS IN WELLINGTON CENTRAL

SwimFit is dedicated to helping Adults in all stages of their swimming journey. Whether you’re a beginner or you’re looking to improve on technique, speed and fitness, we offer structured group swimming lessons for all.

GET TO KNOW THE COACHES

Coach Sam Mabbott is an ex competitive swimmer from England who now works as a Strength and Conditioning Coach and Personal Trainer. He is passionate about helping swimmers reach their goals and interested in how training in the gym and in the pool can complement each other. 

 

Coach Georgia Hind is a NZ Open Water Swimming Representative and NZ 5km Champion. She comes from a background of competitive pool and ocean swimming and believes in swimming being accessible to everyone regardless of their previous experience. 

 

OUR CLASSES

BREATHING CLINIC

Freestyle Breathing Focused
  • 5 Week Block

  • $160

  • 40min Lesson

  • Max of 8 to 1 coach

Small group lessons for beginners or swimmers who would like to learn correct freestyle breathing technique. This course will help build confidence with the end goal of swimming 100m freestyle.

STROKE EFFICIENCY

Technique Focused
  • 10 Week Block 

  • $230

  • Monday 5.45pm or Thursday 630pm

  • 45min Lesson

Perfect for swimmers who have a base understanding of swimming and want to progress to the next step. Lessons will focus on technique and building stamina using a variety of skills and drills to build efficiency in the water.

SWIM FIT

Technique and Fitness Mix
  • 10 Week Block 

  • $210

  • Tuesday or Thursday at 5.30pm

  • 60min Lesson

For swimmers who have some experience with swimming and are confident with longer distances. The squad style set up creates a motivating and challenging environment where swimmers will be working on their speed endurance and strength.
