About Stroke Efficiency

Stroke Efficiency is all about refining your freestyle technique and helping you move more efficiently through the water. Sessions include targeted drills that break the stroke down, along with a simple introduction to other strokes. It’s a supportive, low-pressure environment where you can focus on improving without feeling rushed.

This class is suited to adult swimmers who can already swim at least 100 metres of freestyle continuously, but want to improve their technique and feel more comfortable swimming longer distances.

Booking

Stroke Efficiency runs across an 11-week term, followed by a one-week break before the next term begins.

Most swimmers stay in this level for several terms as they continue progressing. New swimmers can join partway through a term if places are available.

Flexibility

Swimmers working at the top of this level may also choose to attend both Stroke Efficiency and SwimFit Squad sessions. For example, swimmers might attend one Stroke Efficiency class each week and one SwimFit Squad session.

If you can’t attend your usual class, you can arrange to attend another session as a make-up lesson, provided there is space available.
